This is pretty cool... an Orthodox zine for disillusioned punk rockers:
DEATH TO THE WORLD
Okay, okay. Enough from me on this topic for a while, I promise. Peace be with you! |

Dang, I am seriously annoyed at protestant fundamentalism for getting so much wrong and trying so hard to ruin it for everybody. But I'm humbled and thankful that I am finally starting to understand and appreciate the fullness of truth and love revealed through Orthodox Christianity.
Dudes and ladies, I am high on Jesus.
All these years of searching and suffering, emptiness and fear, the eternal hope for the Holy in the midst of the Machine, and have I finally found the Way? There is a new fire burning in my heart, a curious willingness to take that leap of faith.
In other news, it's vacation planning time. Hooray! |

Check out my redesigned website! It's about dang time.

In personal news: everything is blossoms and birds in the garden of my heart, even with a grump like me around. I do not want for tender smooches.
I still spend too much time on livejournal, even though I don't post much these days.

The creator of the buffalo stickers is Seattle street artist Dave Bloomfield. I enjoy "hunting" the ones he's stuck up in the 'Ham. |

I've been meaning to read Dracula, and this seems like a fun way to do it. The novel is written as a series of dated journal entries, and somebody has decided to post them as blog entries in "real-time". The first entry was May 3rd so it shouldn't be hard to catch up. |

[May. 5th, 2009|06:24 am] |
Here's a sneak peak at A Midsummer Night's Dream, the play I'm working on at Whatcom. We're doing the Pyramus and Thisbe scene as an 18-minute short film, which we filmed and I edited on Saturday. Last night I took some clips from that footage and turned them into one-minute silent films. Time well spent, homework done or not. Enjoy!
Yes, that's me in the dress.

Truth, Beauty, Freedom and above all... Love. Yeah, so what if I derived my philosophy of life from Moulin Rouge? |
